Walt Heyer was a husband, father, and corporate executive who underwent so-called “gender reassignment surgery” at the age of 42, identifying as a woman for eight years. Through an encounter with Jesus Christ and the support of a loving church, Walt got his life back (“detransitioned”) and has been restored for over 30 years.
Lauren H. Schwartz MD *
Dr. Lauren Schwartz is a Board-Certified Psychiatrist in private practice in Oklahoma. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine with distinction. She completed residency in psychiatry at the University of Oklahoma’s Health Sciences Center with additional training in psychoanalytic theory through Oklahoma’s psychoanalytic society.
Linda Seiler
Dr. Linda A. Seiler is an ordained Assemblies of God minister and currently serves as a National Chi Alpha missionary, training missionaries in the U.S. and overseas in applied theology and culture. She also serves as the Executive Director of ReStory Ministries.
Denise Shick
Denise has spoken numerous times and presented workshops for churches and church groups, colleges, schools, and professional counselors in many places. She has visited some locations on several occasions to speak. She has taught on the truth behind transgenderism and has counseled countless families who are suffering silently in a confusing world that celebrates their loved one transitioning.
Laura Perry Smalts
While I will still share my testimony of how Jesus delivered me from transgenderism, the Lord has taught me so much over the past several years that we feel God shifting the direction of our speaking engagements. Our heart is to not only share the hope and power of Christ, but to teach and equip the church, students, and whoever else will listen. This equipping will focus primarily (though not exclusively) on gender, sexuality and marriage. We want to proactively teach young people God’s amazing design of male and female, of holy sexuality, and the Gospel story displayed in covenant marriage.
